Hip-hop duo the Cool Kids -- Chuck Inglish and Mikey Rocks -- have built up quite a buzz over the past couple years, and now they have a debut full-length album, 'When Fish Ride Bicycles,' and a single, 'Swimsuits,' featuring Mayer Hawthorne.

As you may have guessed from its title, the song's subject matter ranges from jet skis to girls in bikinis to drinking from coconuts.

The rappers describe the scenes of summer over an eclectic musical base that seems to change from line to line, showcasing synths, bass, vocal chants and various percussive elements.

The beat drops out as Andrew Cohen, the voice behind Mayer Hawthorne, delivers a hook we can't get out of our heads:

"Hey, I see you flashin' me your tail lights / Babe, we can do anything you feel like / No need to contemplate, put on your swimsuit / You know I want to babe, to take a swim with you."

'Swimsuits' has that irresistible quality of feeling both retro and futuristic at the same time. It's a little bit pop, a little bit soul and 100 percent awesome.

'When Fish Ride Bicycles,' featuring collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Asher Roth and Travis Barker, hits stores July 12.
